Targetting Muslims for Terror

"A large cross-section of Muslims in the city claim that the investigating agencies probing the 11/7 blasts are “unfairly targeting” members of their community on charges of complicity.

While some Muslim intellectuals and activists complain of a “collective bias” of the police force and the government, others voice concerns about Muslims being “branded culprits” once again."

Yes I think it should be condemned, for instance I object to the term "Islamic terrorism" which is used frequently in the media. But it is a big issue.

People often condemn and persecute what they don't really understand. Our politicians here glibly talk about a multi-culteral society here but its not really. People tend to mix with what they consider their own kind.

  Truly Life_Lessons and more so when two communities are living in their own ghettos. Since last riots that took place in Mumbai in 1992, there are marked localities characterised by Hindu or Muslim communities.

    That is so sadly true of all different religions and sects, look at Iraq and the Sunni's and Shiite's. Time we all learnt to live together and love one another.

No, no. that is wrong. We have a muslim as the president of the country and there are several muslim scholar who are respected in every field.
The misfortune is that whenever a bomb explodes the police who go for investigation land up in the household of a muslim. Whether it be a bomb blast in Varanasi, Coimbatore, Mumbai or any other place, the person behind would be a muslim. Any criminal act like theft, burglary, riot or any other act of criminal nature is done mostly by muslim youth.
Recently there was a case of assault on the high priest of the famous Sabarimala. The culprit turned out to be a muslim. I dont mean that all nonmuslims are honest and straightforward people and all muslims are criminals. Police who go to investigate the crimes, find muslims to be involved in about 90% of the cases.

  There are many non-Muslims also involved in terror activities. Secondly it is always the innocent people who suffer if the whole community is under siege of suspicion. It can do more harm then good for countering terror tactics.
