Nothing special this year Ellie. One year completed since the ban was imposed on this day on dance in the bars. It robbed off livelihood of 75000 young poor girls, forcing many of them into prostitution. It is dificult for me to celebrate this year but I hope I will be able to do so with these girls next year after achieving justice from the Supreme Court.

happy independence day! the people look happy in the pictures. at least they have hope and i hope the thing with the prostitues gets resolved.
p.s how do u cope with 700+ friends?

Thanks. People often look happy especially in pictuers. The Supreme Court date is nearby and hope the issue is resolved in bargirls favour. They do not call themselves prostitutes, and hey are not in my opinion, though the society prefer to castigate them as such.
Some hundreds should not be a big number for a person living in India and heading organisation of 12000 bar girls, many thousands strong poliical party I guess. When you have purpose and know what exactly you want to do in particular space one is able to cope up with dificult things. I have thousand+ foes in my real life due to my activities, perhaps I feel secure with hundreds of friends...
...and I love friendship then enmity.
