THANKS friends...

by varshakale @ 2006-09-27 - 10:47:05

Thanks everyone for the love, support and solace. You all helped me with your messages to recover and reengage.
It is the friends one has to rely upon in the time of distress.
I feel lucky to have friends who understand and care about me.

At presently the bargirl's case is in Supreme Court and hearing is not yet started. Girls are loosing hope and morale. Trying hard to keep it intact.

I have also taken to translation of one classic work into Marathi, which will be published soon. Will tell more about that later on.

Now more bar girls are coming out to write their life stories. Many cry while recollecting horrors of past, but then we get opportunity to revisit and reinterprete past events to draw strength out of it.

Many girls have responded to my call for restarting education and last week I submitted admission forms of five girls for different courses to two different open universities.

THANKS FRIENDS. LOVE YOU ALL. TAKE CARE.

I appreciate that the Indian judicial and bureaucracy system can present people with many hurdles, and prolonged agony. But I know that you can stick with it. You are made of shining hard precious stones Varsha. Crown of the sisters cause.

Keep Going!

Dear Varsha ,

Responding after a long time after I saw your name in an interesting news item . It mentioned the use of Bar girls from Mumbai in the UP elections by a powerful neta to secure enough votes . Do you think it's the right way to create better democratic norms ? It also suggests that one create laws but fail to supplement it with better ground conditions so that one can access to better lifestyle .It's really tragic that it may ensure few extra bucks to Bar girls and some vote to so-called netas but in the whole process make mockery of hopes of better days and better values .

Yours
Arvind K.Pandey
